Guest bander Dean Cutter of Capitola joined us as well, showing that extraction is in fact just like riding a bike.
A Nashville Warbler caused quite a stir in visiting out station; the first of its kind to ever visit Powell II! It was so unexpected, we nerded out long and hard to settle on what we were looking at. See photos below!
It was a good day for quail... not that we were aiming for that...
We witnessed an "egg in the shoot" (egg in the oviduct); not to be confused with other anatomy...!
