We hosted CalPoly student (again) who (again) provided many interesting (and many unanswerable!) questions.
It was another fairly mellow day in terms of our capture rate, but it was a great day for recaps (~60%).
A Yellow Warbler visited, an uncommon (for us) bird (28 YEWA captures since 2006).
We also banded our 4th ever Tree Swallow. No surprise there; that family has our number. In our 18th year of station history, we've captured 2 Cliff and 2 Barn Swallows.
