Busy day! The bird-to-human ratio was high, 67:4. Exciting and challenging.
Notable birds included Black Pheobe and Downy Woodpecker (with an easy-to-ID juvenile crown, phew!).
Jocelynn thinks she saw the elusive color contrast between the neighboring feather shafts of a Bewick Wren's primaries... though no one was able to corroborate. Probably wishful thinking. What do you see in there?
We caught 3 wrentits in one net, all H-FCF. Siblings we thought? Who knows.
